Assembly Mechanic

KAISER PREMIER is looking for motivated individuals to join their Factory 2 Assembly Team. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to assembling components and sub-assemblies for vehicles in production, customizing truck chassis, assembling hydraulic hoses, performing quality inspections on vehicles in the process of building hydro- excavating and water recycling sewer cleaners.

This position reports directly to the production supervisor.

Factory Assembly Technician qualifications are as follows:

  • Follow Company policies and procedure
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions to build and assemble components.
  • Basic Electrical, Hydraulic, & Pneumatic experience preferred but not required.
  • Employee will be required to provide own set of hand tools within the first 90 days of Employment
  • Ability to adapt and cross train in multiple assembly areas if needed
  • Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to standing, kneeling, working on a creeper, ability to lift and carry up 40lbs.
  • Employee must have reliable transportation to ensure they arrive on time to work
  • Employees will be required to work with other members of the team, and be held accountable for quality defects relating to their tasks
