We're keeping our fingers crossed: Matthias Kaiser starts in the 24-hour race at Le Mans

This Saturday is the starting signal for the 24-hour race in Le Mans. Matthias will be competing in the legendary endurance race for the second time after his debut last year.

The omens for the weekend are good. The Algarve Pro Racing team finished second in the first race of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in Barcelona in April. "Now we have to build on our success in Barcelona at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The entire team is very well prepared and we are already looking forward to the race," explains Matthias.

This year, 62 vehicles will start, 16 of them in the LMP2 class, in which Matthias will also be racing. After qualifying and free practice, the race will start on Saturday, June 15, at 4:00 pm local time. Anyone who wants to cheer on Matthias and his team can follow qualifying, practice and the race on Eurosport 1 and Nitro.
